Privacy Policy

Rainnight Labs builds software and digital products with a preference for minimal data collection. This policy explains how information is handled on rainnightlabs.com and in Rainnight Labs products, including the List2Sheet browser extension.

Website data

Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and aggregate service information may be processed by our hosting or infrastructure providers for security, reliability, and normal service operation.

Purchases and licensing

Payments are processed by our payment provider. Rainnight Labs does not directly store complete payment-card details. Information such as purchase email address, product, payment status, transaction identifiers, and license status may be processed or retained as needed to provide purchases, license activation, license recovery, refunds, and customer support.

List2Sheet browser extension

List2Sheet is designed so that normal webpage extraction, preview, cleanup, keyword filtering, copying, and file generation are performed locally in the user's browser.

When the user explicitly starts Scan, Pick, Highlight, infinite-scroll collection, or pagination collection, List2Sheet may read the content and structure of the active webpage and accessible frames in order to create the requested structured dataset. The extension does not use normal extraction to send scraped webpage content to Rainnight Labs.

List2Sheet may store extension preferences and working state locally in the browser, including interface language, saved extraction settings, temporary per-tab datasets, and license activation/cache information.

Some site-specific adapters may request content directly from the website the user is currently viewing when that site's rendered interface does not expose the requested data reliably. For example, on supported Bilibili video pages, List2Sheet may request Bilibili endpoints from the Bilibili page context to obtain video comment or danmaku data. This data is used to create the requested dataset and is not sent to Rainnight Labs as part of normal extraction.

License verification

When a user activates or verifies List2Sheet Pro, the extension sends the signed license value to Rainnight Labs licensing services so purchase status can be checked. Routine extension activation does not require the purchase email address. Purchase email may be processed when a user requests license issuance or recovery. License checks may query our payment provider for transaction, refund, and chargeback status. This licensing flow is separate from webpage extraction.

Analytics and advertising

List2Sheet does not currently send scraped webpage content to Rainnight Labs for analytics, advertising profiling, or telemetry. Rainnight Labs does not sell scraped webpage content collected through List2Sheet.

Permissions

List2Sheet uses browser permissions needed for user-initiated extraction, scripting in the active tab, local storage, multi-page collection, and license verification. The extension is designed to avoid broad website access permissions where they are not required.

Third-party websites

List2Sheet operates on webpages selected by the user. Those websites have their own terms and privacy practices. Users are responsible for using List2Sheet only with content they are authorized to access and in accordance with applicable website terms and laws.
